Ubuntu Linux Experience

After a series of frustrations on a vintage Toshiba 4000cdt a P2 laptop. Well i learnt a few things which were quite cool.

Root acccount is disabled by default it baffled me a bit as i wanted to do a few things as a super U, but the support i got from the Ubuntu linux mailing list.

The laptop i installed is used by an office colleague am just tryin to get to grips with the open office to see if it can be easily grasped.

The comfort is that i can print in PDF if the worst comes to the worst. At the moment i have just welcomed my self in this family.

I am just proud of the fact that we have a Linux distro from this part o africa.
